bulletSelect bridal party's attire.
bulletInterview Officiant, caterer, baker, florist, photographer, musicians,  Videographer, and limousine services.
bulletInterview travel agents for your honeymoon.
bulletShop for wedding rings.
bulletInterview printer for wedding invitations.

Six months before your Wedding Day 

bulletChoose your  Officiant. (Get written contract.)
bulletChoose your caterer.  ( Get written contract.)
bulletChoose your baker. ( Get written contract.)
bulletChoose your florist. ( Get written contract.)
bulletChoose your photographer. ( Get written contract.)
bulletChoose your musician. ( Get written contract.)
bulletChoose your Videographer. ( Get written contract.)

bulletChoose your wedding invitation and thank-you notes  Choose personal stationery for the thank-you notes that you will write.. (Get written contract.)

Four months before your Wedding Day 

bulletRegister at local bridal-gift registries.
bulletAssist mother of Bride and mother of Groom choose their wedding attire.
bulletSelect Wedding music for ceremony and reception.
bulletHave a meeting with  the Officiant to choose readings, ceremony, vows,  and poetry.
bulletPlan rehearsal dinner and reserve location.
bulletArrange hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests. Ask for group discount and/or special packages.
bulletMake appointment for your gown fittings and that of your attendants.
bulletCheck with town or  city  hall about marriage license  requirements.

Three months before your Wedding Day 

bulletPrepare directions for hotel, wedding location, wedding reception very carefully. Make sure your directions are clearly defined and very easy to follow.  Pretend you are writing a  road  map  for young children ... not every one reads and interprets information the same way you do.
bulletStart addressing your wedding invitations because they get sent out six to eight weeks before your wedding day.
bulletGive the caterers and idea as to how many guest you expect.
bulletCheck with your travel agent to make sure all reservations are in place.
bulletShop for gifts to give your bridesmaids and groomsmen.
bulletSelect your going away outfit.
bulletMake an appointment with your photographer for formal studio portraits.
bulletMake an appointment with your hairdresser, makeup artist,  manicurist, and massage therapist.

Two months before your Wedding Day 

bulletMail your invitations.
bulletHave your wedding portrait taken.
bulletSend wedding portrait and wedding announcement to local newspapers.
bulletFinalize music selection.
bulletPlan your rehearsal dinner,  and brunch.
bulletFinalize honeymoon plans and make sure your passport is up-to-date.
bulletGather together all necessary  paper work for your marriage license,  final divorce decree, court papers if needed, birth certificate, blood tests (depending on state), photo ID, and money for license.

One month before your Wedding Day

bulletGet your wedding license.
bulletCheck with the caterer.
bulletHave a final gown fitting for yourself and bridesmaids.
bulletPurchase a special book to record all  your wedding gifts in as they arrive.
bulletDesign seating plan for your reception and write placement cards.
bulletCheck with florist to confirm date and time of flower deliveries.
bulletCheck with your limousine service about date, time and number of passengers.
bulletCheck with your photographer, Videographer about formal shots you want and do not want of the bridal party, and be specific.

Two weeks before  your Wedding  Day

bulletContinue writing those thank you notes.
bulletPick  up your  wedding rings.
bulletStart packing for your honeymoon.

One week before your Wedding Day

bulletMake final check-in's  with Officiant, caterer, baker, florist, photographer, musician,  videographer, and limousine service.
bulletDesignate a friend or family member to arrange for all wedding  gifts that may be brought to your reception to be delivered to your home or a safe location.
bulletWrap your bridal attendant's gifts and have them ready to bring to rehearsal dinner.
bulletPurchase  travelers checks.
bulletConfirm honeymoon and hotel accommodations.
bulletMake sure all checks have been paid to your wedding Officiant, caterer, baker, florist, photographer, musician,  videographer, and limousine service,  etc...
bulletInform caterer with final number of guests.
bulletConfirm all hotel accommodations for out-of-town guest.

The day before your Wedding 

bulletBreath deeply and relax.
bulletGo for your schedule appointment with you massage therapist.
bulletRelax and enjoy a manicure, and pedicure.
bulletEnjoy  your rehearsal dinner and don't forget to bring the gifts for your attendants.
bulletGet a good night sleep.

Your "Wedding Day" 

bulletAllow lots of time for hairstyling, makeup, and dressing.
bulletAllow ample time for photography.
bulletRemember, this is your special day!  Take a deep breath and enjoy it! Savor every moment!
bulletRemember ... take a deep breath, and/or count to a gazillion!
